Thailand – Historical Sites

Scan_20150123 (6)

This card published by PaperStory@asia.com features a few of the ancient temples to be found around Thailand.  Pictured are the Sukhothai Historical Park – the main temple compound along with a photo of cart riding; several of the ruins located at Ayutthaya, including Wat Phrasripanphet; Wat Phansri Rattana Mahathat; Lopburi’s Phra Prang Sam Yod; Sri Satchanalai National Park; Wat Srichum; and an old photo of Bangkok’s Wat Chaiwattanaram.  I love the collage style with the images appearing as postage stamps.  There’s even a fantasy postmark.  Ayutthaya and Sukhothai (plus “Associated Historic Towns”) are both on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
